International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental organization for developing the ISO standards that help businesses in various sectors such as quality, environment, information security, food safety, business continuity, etc. ISO only develops and publishes international standards and it does not involve in the conformity assessment. This is done by the third-party conformity assessment body, EAS.
