Biological Activity
SU0268 (SU 0268) is a potent, selective, noncovalent inhibitor DNA repair enzyme 8-oxoguanine DNA glycosylase (OGG1) with IC50 of 59 nM.
SU0268 displays low or negligible inhibition against other repair enzymes MTH1, dUTPase, NUDT16, hABH2, hABH3, SMUG1 at 20 uM.
SU0268 shows good membrane permeability and no cytotoxicity in HEK293T and HeLa cells at active concentrations and demonstrates activity in inhibiting the enzyme in human cell lines.
SU0268 is a potentially useful tool in studies of the role of OGG1 in multiple disease-related pathways.
